After the trailer for “Simón” went viral on social media, the short film was screened independently in movie theaters in 8 different countries, totaling 11 different cities. 

The proceeds from the ticket sales of every screening were in part donated to various foundations that are helping Venezuelans both in the country and outside it to help alleviate those in need during the humanitarian crisis currently going on in Venezuela.

Over $20,000 recollected, part of which was donated to the following foundations: Comparte Por Una Vida, Foro Penal, Alimenta La Solidaridad, Alianza Por Venezuela, Mas Is More, Becas UCAB, Friends of Yajad, Chamos.

Each screening was followed by a Questions & Answers sessions with the writer/director Diego Vicentini, who was at times accompanied by cast members.
